Stag Wines - The Most Elusive Wine Bar

Citizens of the World was commissioned to cover and produce the content for the Most Elusive Bar by Stag Wines.. No small feat. Not only was I was engaged to gather stills of the event - but also video content. Which meant, flights from Sydney to Albury-Wodonga. Then helicopter flights up to Falls Creek. The event started with wines at the top of the world at Falls Creek, then moving over to the bar, via the Falls Creek BWM transports.

From there - an amazing meal. Great wines and a great bunch of people.

Prada - Past Forward Event

Prada recently hosted a small group of media, influences and celebrities to Government House in Sydney for the World wide preview of Past Forward.  I was asked to shoot portraits of the guests as they arrived.

I couldn't be happier doing this type work.   Although this was an event - I was in charge of capturing portraits of the guests as they arrived at the grand entrance and stairs of the Government House, Sydney.  Although to the Italian office's contact on the grounds horror what we were doing - I reassured her that fun and not too formal.  She was ecstatic at the end of it.

As you can imagine - I didn't have much time with them.  Having to think extremely quick on your feet and trying to position them and lighting was stressful - but extremely fun.  You don't have a moment to get caught up on their status or fame.  Especially when Jessica Mauboy or Sarah Ellen walks in the door.  You just have to throw them in and work with it.

While I was shooting I had the imagery being sent wirelessly to my laptop, although it wasn't an interest by the client - it could have been sending it straight to an iPhone of iPad for Instagram or Facebook.... food for thought for your next event?

20th Century Fox - "The Longest Ride" X Citizens of the World

I'm pretty proud of this one as I worked very closely with 20th Century Fox to collaborate and produce the content from conception to completing the finished product.

In an attempt to promote the launch of The Longest Ride for a digital release we worked on creating an experience fit for media and creating content worthy of that media.

Influences and mainstream media were invited to Centennial Park, Sydney Riding company to experience a horse ride of there own.

The event was perfectly alined with my website Citizens of the World (read post here) and the post proved to be success.

Mr and Mrs Romance and Sydney Chic blog and Sheridyn Fisher all included articles using my imagery.

The Merivales

I have been Merivales photographer for about 4 years now.  When I attend a Merivale event you can see why Merivale bars and restaurants are so successful.  However,  when you attend their awards night, The Merivales it just reinforces it.  With over 1000 happy, proud and excited staff attending the Merivales are just another way that Justin Hemmes gives back to the staff.  I am also very proud to be a event photographer for group!

Craggy Range - DL Photography Team

Feel like a proud dad.  Here are some shots from one of my photographers from the Craggy Range event at ARIA during the week.  I can't be everywhere at once - but its nice to know I have a great reliable team producing incredible work!

Please feel free to get in touch if you have an event coming up.

Maserati - Mothers Day Classic Polo

I'm sure you can understand my excitement when Maserati called to book me for this. I don't believe you if you say you haven't perved on one, as its drive down the street with that distinctive growl - even in low revs.  It makes my neck hairs stand on end.  So when the call came through to shoot the Polo Society's Mothers Day Polo at Kurri Burri Polo Club - I understandably jumped at it. "You mean, I'm going to get paid to photograph cars?!"
