Dr Oetker's - Remote Risteronti - Dirk Hartog Island

If you have ever been to Dirk Hartog Island - you'll know what I'm about to say.  It is in the middle of no where.  Especially from Sydney.

We, Citizens of the World and I were commissioned by Haystac to cover the launch of the Dr Oetker's pizza, Remote Risteronti which was situated on the Island.  Remote Risteronti was just that - remote.  Let me just give you an idea what it took for a 4hr job. Friday morning around 7am I hopped on a plane from Sydney to Melbourne, with a quick stop then off to Perth followed by a extremely quick stop and up to Geraldton.   Where the team of bandits was formed.  A video crew, Tully Smyth (a hilarious influencer) and the client made up a convoy of 2 Mitsubishi Pajeros.  From here we drove - 4hrs North through some of the most spectacular landscapes and canola fields you have ever seen, to arrive in Hamelin Pools to the most interesting Carvan Park in Australia but luckily which included the best Burgers in the World (self claimed).  We all crashed out - full to the brim with a good Aussie Burger, yes that includes egg and beetroot at about around 10pm exhausted and possibly a little concerned that we might be missing someone by morning light.  As the sun rose - so did we.  Packed the car and drove another 250km.  Although this was no standard walk in your park highway.  It was the WORST corrugated road you have ever been down and it didn't stop.  From 6am we drove - and drove only to arrive at 3pm.  However, the violent vibrating of the car was was continually eroded by the most incredible views you have seen.

I arrived at 36hrs later at the most westerly point of Australia exhausted - but on the biggest high I ever been on.  We worked till about 10pm again - then left the next morning at 5am to do it all again!

20th Century Fox - "The Longest Ride" X Citizens of the World

I'm pretty proud of this one as I worked very closely with 20th Century Fox to collaborate and produce the content from conception to completing the finished product.

In an attempt to promote the launch of The Longest Ride for a digital release we worked on creating an experience fit for media and creating content worthy of that media.

Influences and mainstream media were invited to Centennial Park, Sydney Riding company to experience a horse ride of there own.

The event was perfectly alined with my website Citizens of the World (read post here) and the post proved to be success.

Mr and Mrs Romance and Sydney Chic blog and Sheridyn Fisher all included articles using my imagery.

West Head Walk Sydney

Some times you need to just to something for yourself - well ... Citizens of the World.  Or at least you just need to be surrounded by nature.  Thank God for Sydney - It doesn't take long to find it.  If you are bored this weekend - make sure you make a trip out to West Head and do the bush walk.  You'll thank yourself!

Swimwear in Hawaii (Wilhelmina Models)

I can't stop working.  That's one thing you should probably know about me.  Its not that I'm a work-a-holic.  I love what I do.  If I'm not working on my own business then I'm working on my passion project Citizens of the World.   It's something that my wife and I love working on for all different reasons.  Travel, fashion, interiors and just general lifestyle is some thing that we are both passionate about and all are things I LOVE to work on and shoot.  I/we wouldn't have it any other way.

This shoot is one example why I wouldn't change it.  For one - I think that it looks amazing and it's fun to produce content that no other person will replicate - they can try - but it will never be the same.  Interiors are different - you can copy it exactly... which has happened.  But ultimately we love to meet these amazing people on the other side of the world to share a day, stories life and experiences.  They are Citizens of the World, even if they are in just swimwear.
